Robert Paschal Eaton, 97, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017.
He was a member of Bible Way Baptist Church and Bob Pell Sunday School Class. Robert had been President and Co-owner of Commercial Service Company Heating and Air Conditioning Company from 1974 to 1980. He was a member of Chattanooga Engineers Club and ASHRA Heat and Air Association. He had been a real estate activity director for Coast to Coast in Guntersville, Alabama. Robert was a first lieutenant in the US Army.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Eaton; a son, Rev. Dr. Vernon E. Eaton; three brothers, Raymond Eaton, Curtis Eaton and Vernon Eaton; one sister Jamie Alexander.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Eaton; one son, Larry E. (Sharon) Eaton of Ringgold; daughter-in-law, Denise Eaton, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sue Cottar of Murfreesboro, and Katurah McClarney of Palatka, Fl.; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Dr. Vincent Estill officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Monday and 10 a.m.–12 p.m. on Tuesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S. Moore Rd, East Ridge, TN 37412.
