2 Sons Kitchen And Market Opens On MLK Blvd.; Opa To Debut On River Street

  • Thursday, April 6, 2017

A new restaurant at 433 E. M.L.K. Blvd., 2 Sons Kitchen and Market, will serve traditional breakfasts, sandwiches and salads for lunch and dinner. The location is near UTC and some servers will be students.

That may create peer pressure for underage sales by the servers to other students, said Andre Harriman of the City Beer Board. In order to protect the business, he suggested for the chef and operating partner Nathan Flynt to have all servers professionally trained in alcohol sales.

Opening on the north shore next to Coolidge Park and the Chattanooga Theater Center will be a new restaurant, Opa.

It is at 249 River St.
