Billy Franklin Payne, 83, of Cohutta, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwyneira Jones Payne.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Tommy Goddard of Cohutta; sons and daughters-in-law, Vincent and Cynthia Payne of Winston, GA and Stephen and Julie Payne of Tequesta, FL; sister, Shirley Payne Price of Alabama; grandchildren, Jennifer Payne, Megan Payne, Taylor Kelly, Nicole Payne, Christian Goddard and Lindsey Payne; great granddaughter, Scotlyn Esther Kelly.
A memorial service to honor the life of Billy Payne will be held at Union United Methodist Church in Morris, Ga., on June 3, at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Union United Methodist Church.
