Brooks, Derrell Dewayne (LaFayette)

Derrell Dewayne Brooks, 50, of LaFayette, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Betty Brooks; his adopted parents, Willard and Louise Brooks; brother, Jeffery Brown; aunt, Lottie and uncle, Robert Smith.

Survived by aunt, Maybell Sparks of LaFayette; sister, Charlott Coker of LaFayette; aunts and uncles, Bobby Smith of LaFayette, Trudy Green of LaFayette, John Paul Williams of Summerville, and Linda Rhinehart of LaFayette; niece, Kimberly White of LaFayette; nephew, Stanley Coker of Apison, Tenn; and special caregiver, Christy Cordell.

Funeral services will be at the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel Friday, May 26, at 6:00 p.m. with Brother David Thompson officiating.

Interment will be in LaFayette Memory Gardens.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 4:00 p.m. until service time.
