Cross, Shelia Ann (Cleveland)

Shelia Ann Rymer Cross, 69, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday July 20, 2017 at the family residence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan D. Cross, her adopted parents, Pearl and Lige Rymer, and her father, James “Glen” Rymer.

Sheila was a homemaker and a former employee with Coppinger Color Lab. She loved to go on cruises and was a huge Elvis Fan.

She is survived by her mother, Ruth Rymer of Cleveland, her son, Michael Cross of Cleveland, her sisters, Dovie Wynkoop and her husband, Byron of Cleveland, Mary Hornbuckle of Chatsworth, Karen Love and her husband, Frank of Cleveland, her brothers, Joe Rymer and his wife, Pat of Cleveland, Jim Rymer and his wife, Bernice of Decatur. She is also survived by her grandson, Brandon Cross, and her great-grandson, Jude Cross, and several nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life Service will conducted at 12 p.m. on Monday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Avenue Chapel with Pastor Benny Watson and Reverend Charles Bain officiating.

The interment will follow in the Morgan Cemetery in the Springtown community of Reliance.
 
The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
