Thomas Shamblin, 91, of McDonald, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017.

Thomas was a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church, 32nd degree Mason at the Ooltewah Masonic Lodge 741, and a member of the Scottish Rites Temple. He proudly served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant in the 565th Signal Corp. Infantry, and retired from South Central Bell after 38 years of service.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel and Alice Shamblin, sister, Virginia Jo Carr, and brothers, Clyde, Bill, Clarence, and Jack Shamblin.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Frances Liner Shamblin, daughter, Cindy (Donald) Jones, brother, George L. (Becky) Shamblin, grandchildren, Tommy (Jenni) Jones, Jonathan (Amber) Jones, and great-grandchild, Jackson Jones.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11 AM at Calhoun Community Cemetery in Calhoun, Tn. with Reverend Bill Mason officiating.
