Lanier, Terry Lynn (Trenton)

Terry Lynn Lanier, 72, passed away August 15, 2017. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. His interests were antique cars and hot rods. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Michelle Godwin; parents Waymon and Virginia Lanier; sister Debbie Kenimer.

Survivors include his daughters Angel (Jason) Jones, Starla Lanier; sisters Judy Long Smith and Brenda Long Benson; eleven grandchildren Russel and Lacey Gregory, Kira Jones, Ariel McClam, Kayla McClam, Daniel McClam, Dylan McClam, Chase Hale, Sharina Godwin, Shyanna Godwin, Savannah Godwin; three great-grandchildren Wednesday Lockhart, Silas Godwin, Kendrix Godwin; best friends Danny Elrod, Wesley Gentry, Ronnie Stiles, and Doug Sanson; two loving ex-wives Linda Lanier and Sandra Joyce Barger; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend John Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Trenton Baptist Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday 4-8 p.m.; Thursday 10-11 a.m.
