Deborah Jane Cox
Deborah Jane Cox, 65, of Graysville, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga.
She was born in Rossville, to the late James and Josie (Lynch) McClure. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Cox, as well as her sister, Joanne Taj.
Deborah was born in Rossville, and later moved to Graysville. She then became a beautician where she owned and operated Scissors Hair Design for over 16 years. She was most recently working at Unique Hair Design. Deborah was also a grief recovery counselor, and was a member of the Unity Gospel Tabernacle in Graysville. Deborah enjoyed being in the 50s+ Club at Unity Gospel Tabernacle.
Deborah is survived by Jackie M. Cox Jr. of Graysville, Jason (Bridget) Cox of Dayton; in addition to Robin Faye McClure. She is also survived by Eddie and Donna Cates of Rossville, as well as nieces Julie Simpson, Christy Smith of Rossville, and Jamie Morris of Chickamauga and Sheri (Tony) Eberhardt of Decatur. She is also survived by her nephew, Shawn Taj of Atlanta; in addition to her grandchildren, Zackery Ryan Cox, Jason Lee Cox, Kiley Shay Smith, Hanna Grace Fuentes, and Jeremy Owen Nathienal Cox.

A gathering time for family and friends will be held on Thursday, in the parlor of Vanderwall Funeral Home from 3-7 p.m. Beach attire is requested. She will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens.
