Dalton State senior Juan Zapata had a massive day, recording a Hat Trick with goals in the 4', 15' and 29' to help the Roadrunners run their winning streak to three games with an 11-2 victory over Oakwood (Ala.) on Sunday at Lakeshore Park.

Normally a stalwart on defense, Zapata got his chance to shine today and he capitalized on the moment.
Sophomore
Santiago Moore assisted on two of his goals with Daniel Okonkwo assisting on the third. Okonkwo, the hero of the Shorter match, got into the mix with two goals of his own to push his season total to three.

Freshman Kevin Villatoro would add his third goal of the season in the 14', while Joel Guillen Lerroux, Andres Pena, and Taeylor Fisch would also score for the Birds.

Dalton State will have a quick turnaround as they host #16 Bryan (Tenn.) on Tuesday, September 12 at Lakeshore Park. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
