Sunday, Sept. 24, marks the 72nd Women's Day celebration at Second Baptist, 2305 E. Third St. Two services are planned at
8 a.m.
and 11 a.m. Mrs. Doris E. Ervin, of Second Baptist, will be the speaker at the
8 a.m. service. Mrs. Ervin is a dedicated Bible Study teacher, and co-founder of Breath of Life Ministries. She also serves as the administrative assistant of Second Baptist.
The 11 a.m. guest speaker is the Rev. Dr. Yvonne Wright-Dunn, pastor, Birthing Place Worship Center, Portsmouth, Va. The services will also feature In His Steps Praise Ministry.
This year's theme is, "Christian Women Teaching Women How to be Godly and Live Holy," using Titus 2:3-5 as the background scripture. The theme colors for the day are black, white and pink.
