Juanita Watson
Juanita Elnora “Nora” Watson, 87, died on September 15, 2017 to her eternal home.
She was born to the late Howard and Leola Sanders on March 16, 1930.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cleveland Watson, Sr. and two brothers, Hackett and Joseph Sanders, and one son-in-law, Alexis B. Lewis, Sr.
She was an active member of New Beginning AME Zion Church for years.
She is survived by her son, Cleveland (Linda) Watson, Jr. of Hattiesburg, Ms., and two daughters, Anita and Pauletta Watson of Chattanooga; two sisters, Cardia Gosha, Cleveland, Oh., and Vivian Shelton, Chattanooga; and one brother, Marvin Sanders, Chattanooga; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great- grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The body will lie in state after noon on Thursday, Sept. 21. The wake will be from 7-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 22, at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend McDaniel Bowman officiating. Interment: National Cemetery.
