Betty Still
Betty A. Still, 90, of Chattanooga went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2018.
She was born on Aug. 4, 1927, In Pittsburgh, Pa. She was a longtime resident of Hamilton County and an active member of St. John United Methodist Church. She also volunteered at Memorial Cancer Center for 17 years, and St. John’s Meals on Wheels program.
Mrs. Still was preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Still.
Mrs. Still is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Iain Hutchinson, daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Dr. Gary Leigh, daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Lance Pettus and son David Wm. Still; her grandchildren, Jeffery Stephens, Jessica and Clint Sorrell, Kristy and Steve Willmon, George Baxter Leigh, Karen and Steve Johnson, Sarah and Scott Fowler; great-grandchildren, Shalon and Roxanne Sorrell, Kessler Willmon, Jake, Maddie and Evie Johnson and Abbey Fowler;
nephews, Paul and Michael DiMaio and niece, Angela Furry.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, at St. John’s United Methodist with Pastor Carl Blackburn officiating.
Interment will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery for immediate family only.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s United Methodist Church, 3921 Murray Hills Drive, Chattanooga, Tn. 37416.
