Hotalen, Edward C. "Carl" Jr.

Edward C. Hotalen, Jr. “Carl”, from Chattanooga, 84, passed away recently at his home in Largo, Florida. 

 

His deceased parents were Ruby Power Hotalen and Edward Carl Hotalen, Sr. of Chattanooga. His siblings include Shirley Hotalen Spencer of Chattanooga, Norwood Hotalen of Toccoa, Ga., and his deceased sister, Frankie May Hotalen Garner of Chattanooga. 

 

He is survived by his daughter, Donna Lynn Palomino of St. Petersburg, Fl., his son, Christopher Hotalen of Gulfport, Fl., and seven grandchildren.

 

Carl’s father led pastoral missions for Highland Park Baptist Church. Carl used to love to hear his Daddy preach.

 

Carl Hotalen was a graduate of Central High School and served with the U. S. Army in Korea.

 

He was a loving father and grandfather.  He knew the Lord and is resting in heaven.
