Christ United Methodist Church and The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer's Center of Excellence, Collegedale enjoy a pizza party celebrating the fifth year of the "Let's Sing from Memory” program.
The "Let's Sing from Memory" program at Christ United Methodist Church is entering its fifth year of bringing music and ministry to the lives of those with Alzheimer's disease.
"The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer's Center of Excellence, Collegedale has enjoyed the bi-monthly sing-a-longs featuring golden oldies and music trivia since the program began. The volunteers help make a difference in the lives of the residents, serenading their hearts with the music they love," officials said.
Morning Pointe invites churches and faith-based organizations to enjoy fun and fellowship with the residents as part of the Meaningful Day program.
