Jean Carolyn Cockrell Williams, 72, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018, at her residence.
She was born in Athens, Tn., and had been a resident of Cleveland since 1990. Jean was a fantastic dancer and an amazing cook. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Cockrell and Stacy Murray Cockrell; and brother, Buck Cockrell.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Harry James (Chip) Williams; children, Shanda Williams of Florence, SC, Krista Williams of Knoxville, and Dae Williams of Oxford, MS; sister, JoAnn Davidson of Nashville; and several nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
