Jeffrey King
Jeffrey Lynn King, 54, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday morning, October 21, 2018, at his home.
He was born on Nov. 13, 1963. Jeffrey was a gifted mechanic who loved racing and sent many weekends at the Cleveland Speedway. He also worked for many local auto detail shops in his lifetime and enjoyed fishing in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry King and stepfather, Donald Hegwood.
Jeffrey leaves behind to cherish is memory his two daughters, Amber King and her husband, Matthew Cook, and Heather King, son, Andrew Mitchell, mother, Mildred King Hegwood, two sisters, Rebecca Hilliard and Jennifer Burnette (Kyle), one brother, Ricky King, five grandchildren, Carrie Ann Thurman, Jeremiah King, Josiah King, Kymbr King and Avery Cook, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A memorial gathering is planned for Tuesday, Oct. 23, from 5-8 p.m. in the parlor of the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral Home.
