A ceiling tile fell at the Children's Hospital neonatal unit on Friday morning. No children were hurt.

Officials said, "A pipe containing cleaning fluid over one of our NICU pods sprung a leak.  Some of that liquid fell on three employees who immediately washed off and changed clothes. None of the babies in that pod were exposed to any of this leaked fluid and were moved to another pod for care.  The affected area is now cordoned off and currently under repair.  The Chattanooga Fire Department initially responded but were called off when they realized their services were not needed.  Families of all babies in this affected area have been notified."

The unit is on the fifth floor at Erlanger Hospital on E. Third Street.
