Bobby Sharp
John “Bobby” Sharp, age 73, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 in a Chattanooga Hospital.
He was a member of the Jasper Church of Christ, a Black Angus cattle farmer and a 35-year retiree of Tennessee Valley Authority.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Moore Dalton; and stepfather, Joseph Willard Dalton.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 50 years, Wanda Sharp; daughters, Karen (Kevin) Brown of Stevenson, Al.; Leanne (Eddie) Rodgers of Hixson, Tn.; sister, Sandra Quarles of Wilmington, N.C.; stepbrother, Darrel (Mildred) Dalton of Jasper, Tn.; grandchildren, Jonathan (Ciara) Troxell of Bridgeport, Al.; Tyler (Kenda) Brown of Scottsboro, Al.; Katie Brown of Auburn, Al.; Lauren Marina and T.J. Rodgers of Hixson, Tn.; three great-grandchildren, Brantley, Landon and Olivia Brown; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Ray and Wanda Murphy, Jimmy Crowe and Sam McCann.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 17, from 3-7 p.m CDT at Tate Funeral Home, Jasper, Tn.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Tate Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m. CDT with Bruce Leonard officiating.
Interment will follow at Spangler Cemetery.
