Celanne Lindsey
Celanne Okoye Lindsey “Missy”, 27, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018, in a local hospital.
She was a 2013 graduate of Brainerd High School and was a member of Second Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Special Olympics.
Celanne was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Celeste Lindsey, Edgar and Annie Rainey; uncle, Percy Rainey; godfathers, Sammy Dunn and Namon Walker. Survivors include her parents, John and Yvonne Lindsey, Jr.; Godparents, Dorothy Walker, Ruth Dunn, Victor and Debbie Minton, all of Chattanooga; brothers, Brandon Rainey of Memphis and John Lindsey, III of Chattanooga; three uncles; five aunts; five nieces; one nephew; one great-niece; one great-aunt; and a host of cousins.
She will lie in state on Saturday, Nov. 24, after 10 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Mark Garrett as the eulogist.
