Rosa Lee Sandidge Sullivan, 91, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday morning, December 2, 2018, at Bradley Healthcare.
Born on May 13, 1927 to the late Fate and Mae Sandidge; she was a native and lifelong resident of Bradley County. She was an assistant manager for Lay’s Five and Dime for 10 years in the 1950’s and was a homemaker and baby sitter for several years. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and attended Berean Baptist Church for several years. She was a resident of Bradley Healthcare since 2008 with Alzheimer’s Disease and was loved and cared for like family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bethel Sullivan; brothers, Lonnie, Virgil, James, Wayne and Arie and Ezra Sandidge; and a sisters, Clyde Stonecipher Bonnie Sue and Mary.
Survivors include her sons, Reed Sullivan of Old Fort; John Sullivan and Wife April of Old Fort; granddaughter, Emma Rose; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A Celebration of Life and Home Going for Ms. Rosa Lee Sullivan will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5, from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Brother Roger Wagner officiating.
Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6, and proceed to Cedar Springs Cemetery for the 11 a.m. committal service.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
