Patricia Weaver Scruggs, 68, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at her residence.
She attended Howard High School and later was employed by the City of Chattanooga Public Works Department. Patricia was a member of Greater Second Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rodell Chapman and Odessa James; brothers, Detroit James and Willie Earl James.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Reese; son, David Weaver; granddaughter, Daejanay Weaver; sisters, Izola Humphey, Barbara Bonds, and Angela Bush; brothers, Roger (Margaret) Long, and Eugene Burroughs, Jr.
Visitation will be on Friday, Dec. 14, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Steve Caudle as the officiant and Elder Lydell Lovelace as the eulogist. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
