Hazel Louise Wheeler, 81, died on Thursday, February 15, 2018.
She was born in Hamilton County to the late Aubrey and Bertie Medley. She was employed by Shaw Industries as a roll up operator for 12 years.
Hazel is preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Joseph Albert Wheeler; sister, Shirley Hesson; and brothers, Homer, Carl and Herman Medly.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Glenda Wheeler, Michael Wheeler, Larry and Tammy Wheeler, Daryle Wheeler, all of Flintstone, Jerry and Annette Wheeler of Hixson; daughters, Karen Reed, Renva Brewer and Diana Wheeler, all of Ringgold; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17 at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with interment to follow after. Pastor Christopher Paradise will be officiating.
