Betty J. Aaron, 85, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018.

 

Betty was of the Church of God faith. She loved to read, cook and take care of her family.

 

She was preceded in death by her son, Russell Aaron Jr., parents, Roger and Lena Ridings, siblings, Margaret Case, Nella Ruth and Jack Ridings.

 

Survivors include her loving husband, William Russell Aaron Sr., son, Jimmy (Teresa) Aaron, daughter, Brenda (Terry) Scates, both of Chattanooga, daughter, Sharon (Les) Williams of Ooltewah, grandchildren, Heather, Mandy, Elizabeth, Kyle, Kelly and Vance, seven great- grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. 

 

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 19, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at the funeral home with Pastor Travis Rodgers officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
