Beulah Lee Harden Beard, 87, a resident of Tennga, passed away on Thursday morning in a local health care facility.

She was the daughter of the late Grover and Luella Maxwell Harden and was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Beard, her children, Dooley Beard, Charles “Ed” Beard, Deanna Beard and Judy Jones, her grandchildren, Deedee O’Daniel, Delana Beard and Dorothy Beard, her siblings, George and Bill Harden and Otis Chambers.

She retired from American Uniform Company with over 20 years of service, she was a wonderful cook and attended Liberty Baptist Church in Tennga.

Survivors include her children, George Beard and his wife Freda, JC Beard and Holly Headrick, JoAnn Manis and her husband, Tony, Charlotte Ridley and her husband, Ernest and Alvin Jones, 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

A Remembrance of Life Service will be held on Sunday, at 3 p.m. at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Pastor Charles Moore and Pastor Chris Corbin officiating. The interment will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Tennga, with Matt Jones, Dustin Beard, Daniel Reagan, Josh Manis, Nick Davenport and Bud Davenport serving as casket bearers.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
