Cleveland State Women's Basketball Wins 3rd Straight Game

The Cleveland State Lady Cougars were able to extend their winning streak to three games, but it came with a little adversity which they were able to overcome in securing a 92-86 triumph in overtime.  Cleveland saw an 11 point lead going into the fourth quarter evaporate into a 3 point deficit with less than 20 seconds to play.  After a timeout, Abby Hubert drained a three-pointer from the left wing to tie the contest at 78 with five seconds to play.  The Lady Bucks had a chance at the buzzer but were denied.

The Lady Cougars then scored the first eight points of the overtime to claim the win.  Ebony Kelley had eight of the team's 14 points in the extra period.  Three scorers reached double digits in the game led by Hubert's 31 points.  She also had six rebounds.  Kelley was next with 26 points to go with five rebounds.  Keya Jenkins finished with 14 points, four rebounds, and six assists.  Julia Gaither had only eight points, but dished out 12 assists, and had seven rebounds.
