Phillip Lamar Wells
Phillip Lamar Wells, age 55, of Chattanooga went home to be with the Lord Monday, March 19, 2018 at his home.
He was born August 24, 1962 in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.
Phillip was a 1980 graduate of South Pittsburg High School and later graduated from Chattanooga State.
He and his wife were the owners of Accu-Med Supply, Clockwork Innovative Solutions, and TNT Portable.
He appeared on the program cover for the 1996 Paralympics in Atlanta.
Phillip was a member of New Haven Baptist Church.
His mother, Betty Jane Wells, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Tina Smith Wells; father, Bobby Lee Wells of South Pittsburg, TN; daughter, Pamela Annette (Dewayne Smith) Wells of Rossville, GA; grandson, Austin Montgomery of Jasper, TN; stepdaughter, Jenna (Andrew) Lafevor of Red Bank, TN; stepson, Tyler Johnson of Dunlap, TN; brothers, Gary (Tena) Wells of Scottsboro, AL and Ronnie (Kathy) Wells of South Pittsburg, TN; sister, Debbie (Ricky) Smith of South Pittsburg, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 at 6 p.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 8214 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
