Gott, Paul Edward, Jr. (Jasper)

Paul Edward Gott Jr., 66, of Jasper, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018. 

Paul was born Feb. 13, 1952 to the late Paul E. Gott Sr. and Ada Hale Teague also preceded in death by his stepfather Samuel Teague. 

Paul was baptized at an early age and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Jasper. He was retired from TVA of Widows Creek and Boilermaker Local 454. He was a Marion County High School graduate in the class of 1969. He was an avid baseball and football fan. He loved hunting and fishing. He was  a jokester and he will be remembered for always being the life of the party. 

Those left to cherish his memory are the mother of his children, Emma Gott; children, Paul E. Gott III and Rebecca (Napoleon) Clark; brother, Gerald Wayne (Sharon) Teague; grandchildren, Emmaly, Gerald, Tre`, Ashton and Laila; several nieces and nephews; special cousin, Alma Sue Moore; special aunt, Mary Lou Myers; special nephews, Jason and Cason Teague; and good friend, Deanie Jones.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 28, from 6-8 p.m. CST.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Tate Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, March 29, at 2 p.m. CST. 

Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
