Herbert Clemons
Herbert Hardy Clemons Jr. "Herby", 82, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.
He was a transmission specialist. He was a decorated Naval veteran and loved antique cars, golf and NASCAR.
Herby was preceded in death by his parents; Herbert Sr. and Laura Clemons; brothers, James and Tommy Clemons; nephew, Jimmy Clemons.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine (Mirt) Clemons of Soddy Daisy; daughter, Darlene (Lanny) Viall and son, Roger (Debbie) Clemons, all of Soddy Daisy; three granddaughters, Lori (Matt) Loney of Hixson, Joni ( Brad) Sullivan of Soddy Daisy, and Tarasita (Glen) Keeble of Hixson; nine great-grandchildren; Brady, Emily and Brannon Sullivan, Ashley, Carter, Harper and Hayden Loney and Madison and Mackenzie Keeble; two brothers, Don (Joan) Clemons and Kenneth (Carlotta) Clemons.

Celebration of Life service for Herby will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, at Daisy Church of God with Bishop Clayton Privett officiating.
Interment will be on Monday, March 12, at 1:30 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
