Two Football Mocs Named To NFF Hampshire Honor Society

Two members of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team were named to the National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society this week.  This group is comprised of college football student-athletes from all divisions of play who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers. 

Representing the Mocs on this list are offensive linemen Alex Hooper and Branden Parker.  Hooper was a three-time Academic All-Southern Conference honoree who played in 34 games in his career.  He graduated with honors with a degree in Business in 2017 and worked towards his MBA while playing his final season last fall. 

Parker was a three-year letter winner and two-time member of the Academic All-SoCon team.  He is set to graduate with a degree in Health & Human Performance in May.  He played in 24 games in his career with four starts.

Hooper and Parker are the 11th and 12th Mocs to gain membership into the Hampshire Honor Society since 2012.  They join Adam Miller (2012), Shane Heatherly (2012), C.J.
Murrell (2013), Patrick Sutton (2013), Nick Pollard (2014), Davis Tull (2014), Jacob Huesman (2015), Derrick Craine (2016), Jacob Revis (2016) and Hunter Townson (2016).
