An investigation by special agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the arrest of a Cottontown woman who is charged with the abuse and death of a toddler she was babysitting.

At the request of 18th District Attorney General Ray Whitley, on March 27, TBI agents, with the assistance of the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office, began investigating the injury, and subsequent death, of two-year-old Aiden Hale of Gallatin.
