Patricia Dorothea Adams Taylor, 66, passed away on May 17, 2018.

She was born in Chattanooga on Sept. 27, 1951, to Mason Lee Adams II and Gertrude C. Adams. She was a member of Washington Park Baptist Church and was a graduate of Tyner High School. She was preceded in death by her father, Mason Lee Adams II, Chattanooga; brother, James W. Adams, Murfreesboro.

Survivors include her mother, Gertrude C. Adams, Chattanooga; daughters, Sherry (Al) Johnson Green, Columbia, S.C. and Sharon Mickel, LaFayette; grandsons, Alex Johnson II, Jacksonville, Fl., Kary Penn, Chattanooga, and Brandon Mickel, LaFayette; granddaughters, Nia Freeman, LaFayette, GA and Erica Adams, Columbia, SC; great-grandchildren, Allie Johnson, Zyonna Wells, Deasia Wells, Michael Brooks, Jeremiah Brooks, and Zoe Brooks; brothers, Mason Lee (Star) Adams, III, Charlotte, NC, and Dean (Ellen) Adams, Sr; sister, Brenda (Hamel) Jones, Harvey, Il.; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Friday, May 25, in the chapel, and visitation will be held from 10 a.m.-noon prior to the service. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
