Gary Davis
Gary Russell Davis, 58, of Lafayette, Georgia, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018, in a local health care facility.
He served in the U.S. Army in 1980.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Ethel Davis; sisters, Mary Jackson, Martha Davis, and Jacqueline McDaniel.
Survivors include his devoted and loving wife, Cheryl Davis of Rossville; sons, Edward Chubb of Chattanooga, Gerald Chubb of Nashville, and Montrell Turnbow of Chattanooga; daughter, Sharika (Quintell) Wilson of Chattanooga; a host of grandchildren; brother, Terry (Natasha) Davis of Atlanta, GA; sister, Linda Crawford of Chattanooga; brother-in-law, Kevin Nance; sister-in-law, Deborah Halfacre both of Chattanooga; aunt, Sarah Carson of Chattanooga; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 28, at 11 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
The funeral will follow at noon in the chapel with Brother Jimmie Ingram as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
