Chattanooga Police were dispatched to a stabbing in the 3600 block of Hixson Pike on Saturday, at approximately 2:23 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Jarvis Appleberry, 27, suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene and transported the him to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Violent Crimes Bureau investigators responded to scene. Investigators located and interviewed the suspect, Jamal Strickland, 32. Warrants were obtained and he was arrested for the offense of aggravated assault.
