East Ridge Police Charging 4 Individuals In Robbery At Motel

  • Monday, July 23, 2018

East Ridge Police said they were charging four individuals in connection with a robbery at a motel last Wednesday.

Steven Hodge said the incident happened at 6514 Ringgold Road.

He said Amanda Cash had left the room while he was in the bathroom, then a black male and two white males entered. He said they assaulted him, then left with his backpack, which he said contained his "important papers.".

He said he recognized one of the white males as "Dustin."

Police said the victim had a slight reddening of his nose.

A witness at the motel reported seeing three males enter the room and then exit with a backpack.

Police said on Friday they located Amanda Cash at the Airport Inn on Lee Highway. The Hodge backpack was in her room. It contained a number of credit cards and other items.

Ms. Cash said she had left the room when Hodge was in the bathroom. She said she placed a card in the door so it would not lock. She said Brian Alex Stone Jr., Dustin Wade Draughon and Anthony Lee Mullis then entered the room.

She said she overheard an altercation taking place and heard scream, "I didn't do it."

Ms. Cash said the trio came out with Mullis holding the back pack.

She said they all left in a silver Dodge Caliber driven by Stone.

Ms. Cash is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and aggravated burglary. Stone, Draughon and Mullis are charged with conspiracy as well as robbery and aggravated burglary.
