Dear Mr. Deering,
Respectfully, Signal Mountain needs US 127 repaired, but do you realize you have scheduled such repairs during the busiest traffic weekend of the year?
Perhaps you are not aware of the US 127 World’s Longest Yard Sale that occurs Aug. 2-5. Perhaps you just want to punish Signal Mountain because a senator and congressman have pushed you to repair?
Please tell me you have a plan to alleviate the situation about to unfold. This is insanity.

Please note that having a section of Signal Mountain road fall off the mountain would be even worse. The timing of this repair was not stupid or arbitrary. It was set by Mother Nature.
We should be thanking TDOT for a prompt response to a critical need.
