McBryar Given 78 Months In Child Pornography Case; Must Pay $1,000 Each To 12 Identified Child Victims

A man who said he watched child pornography with his wife over a period of about a year has been sentenced to serve 78 months in federal prison.

William McBryar appeared before Judge Sandy Mattice.

McBryar earlier pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting another in the possession of child pornography.

Agents found a large number of images of child engaging in sexual activity on his computer.

McBryar is to pay $1,000 each in restitution to 12 children shown in the videos and who have been identified. The payments are to go through their attorneys.

His wife, Diana, has not yet been sentenced.
