Arther "Lannie" Cox passed away Monday, August 13, 2018 at his home in Dayton, Tn.
Lannie has been a resident of Rhea County for 18 years and is a member of Salem Baptist Church. He was a self-employed construction contractor.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Winfield Cox and Odessa Pendergass Cox; and brother, Ronnie Cox.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Cox of Dayton; children, Renee (Keith) Goldman, Aaron (Alecia) Cox, Cayla (Brandon) Minton all of Dayton, Matthew (Molly) Cox of Dunlap, Joe (Julie) Cox of Signal Mtn., Bonnie (Alan) Osburn of Huntsville, Al.; sister, Lynn Reynolds of Soddy Daisy; brother, John Cox of Hixson; and 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Aug. 16, at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with John Cox officiating.
In lieu of flowers, make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
