Mr. Thomas R. Williams, 63, of Rossville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. Mr. Williams was a member of the Rossville Church of Christ. He enjoyed spending time with family and his grandchildren. He was a truck driver for over 40 years, and he was always there for any friends or family in need.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Janet Lynne Williams; father, Willie C. Williams Sr.; sisters, Judy Buwa and Evelyn Bailey; and brother, John Williams.

Survivors include his children, Amanda Cosme and Heather (Jessie) Lingerfelt; mother, Ida Whittle Williams; sisters, Sherri Martin, Diane Massey and Lorraine Rasmussen; brothers, W.C. Williams, Chris Williams and Raymond Williams; grandchildren, Abigail, Wesley and Benjamin Lingerfelt; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 18 at 1 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens-South. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour.
