Incumbent 3rd District Congressman Chuck Fleischmann cruised to victory in the Republican primary in Thursday's election.
He will face Democrat Danielle Mitchell, who tallied 30,906.
Rep. Fleischmann of Chattanooga piled up 79 percent of the vote.

Rep. Scott DesJarlais and Democrat Mariah Phillips won in U.S. House District 4.
Rep. DesJarlais had 61,978 to 26,571 for Jack Maddux.
Mariah Phillips had 15,468. Christopher Hale had 11,306 and Steven Reynolds 5,786.
