Chattanooga House Of Prayer To Host Next Spiritual Rhythm Retreat On Saturday, Sept. 8

  • Friday, August 24, 2018

The Chattanooga House of Prayer is hosting their next Rhythms Retreat on Saturday, Sept. 8 from 9 a.m.-noon at Chattanooga House of Prayer, 3912 Dayton Blvd. in Red Bank.

Chattanooga House of Prayer officials said they developed the Rhythms series to support those who were seeking to find balance and strengthen their spiritual journey.

The retreats have been held over the course of a year and include teaching, discussions and practice of a particular spiritual discipline. "During this year-long journey, participants have explored spiritual practices that have cultivated intimacy with Christ, nourished their soul and ultimately transformed their lives," officials said.

While three retreats remain for 2018, each retreat can stand alone. September’s Rhythm session is entitled, "Discernment - Recognizing and Responding to the Presence of God."

The cost to register is $20. The retreat is open to the public and men and women of all ages are invited to attend. To register or for more information, visit www.chatthop.org or contact Micki Ann Harris, ChattHOP’s spiritual formation director, at mickiann@chatthop.org.
