Boyd-Buchanan Golfers Win District Championship

The Boyd-Buchanan boys and girls golf teams both won their Div II-A District golf tournaments today at Bear Trace.

The Lady Bucs scored a 159 and Chattanooga Christian 211. These were the only two girls’ teams in the district.

Zacori Hill (79) was the low medalist for the girls today.

Lydia Campbell (80) was the second place medal winner overall.

The Bucs scored a 307. Silverdale was second with a 363 and Collegedale third with 369.

Trent Cooper led the Bucs with a 74 and the second place medal winner for overall scores.

Riley Covington (75)-third place medal winner overall.

Hayes Wood (76)-fourth place medal winner overall.

Riley Barnes (82)-fifth place medal winner overall.

 

Both boys and girls teams now advance to the Region tournament which will be played at Bear Trace on September 19.
