Over 300 students from high schools in Hamilton County Schools (East Hamilton, East Ridge, Ooltewah, Central, CSAS, Signal, and Brainerd) will work in rehearsals all day to prepare for a community concert. Each school ensemble will perform a song, and then students will unite to perform one combined women's choir piece, one combined men's choir piece and two Mass-Choir pieces.  "This free public concert at Ridgedale Baptist Church promises to be an outstanding showcase of student artistry," officials said.

Hamilton Sings: Oct. 23, 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church

Students from every elementary school in Hamilton County Schools will participate in workshops and rehearsals all day on Oct. 23.  "Participants will forge relationships across the district and prepare a magnificent concert," officials said. "Over 160 students will be led by 50 Hamilton County School elementary music teachers in this memorable music-making experience."  The students will then perform in the free event October 23 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church.
