UTC Women 13th At Mason Randolph Championships

The Chattanooga Mocs women’s golf team is currently 13th at the Mason Rudolph Championships as weather suspended the tournament for the remainder of the day. The ladies shot 300 in the morning round as is 3 over through the 9-12 holes they completed in the afternoon on the North Course at the Vanderbilt Legends Club.

Monica San Juan continues to lead the way at level par, tied for 14th overall. Maddy McDanel is 3 over with Rheagan Hall (+10), Esme Hamilton (+13) and Dorota Zalewska (+27) rounding out the squad’s scoring.

The Mocs started the day in 13th, but fell one position to 14th after the first 18.
San Juan and McDanel carded twin 73s with Hall and Hamilton turning in matching 77s. That’s changed to this point in the afternoon.

They headed to the hotel back in 13th at 26 over. Their 3-over total through 9-12 holes is tied for the seventh-best of the round. The Mocs are within eight strokes of eighth-place Missouri providing ample opportunity to climb the leaderboard.
