Sara Lou “Sue” Cornutt, 85, of Ooltewah, died on Sunday, October 13, 2019.

 

She was born in Ringgold, to the late Hubert Ensley and Lula Bell Ward Ensley.  Sue was a graduate of Ringgold High School, class of 1951. She was a member of Ooltewah Baptist Church. Sue loved to travel and cook, especially breads and desserts.

 

She was preceded in death by her sister, Juanita Ensley.

 

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Don Cornutt; son, Robert Cornutt, Birmingham, and several cousins.

 

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeremy Colloms officiating. Interment will be in the Chattanooga National Cemetery at a later date.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Ooltewah Baptist Church, P.O.9, Ooltewah, Tn. 37363.
