Dade County Senior Alexis Moore Dies In Head-On Wreck; 2 Other Students Injured In Trenton Collision

A senior from Dade County High School was killed in a head-on crash on Thursday night that also injured two other seniors.

The victim was identified as 17-year-old Alexis Moore.

The wreck happened around 6:20 p.m. in the 700 block of Daniels Road in Trenton.

Dade County High's Friday night football game was to continue as scheduled.

The two other girls who were injured are members of the Marching Wolverines color guard, which will not be taking part in the homecoming game.

Ms. Moore will be honored as the honorary homecoming queen.

The two injured students remain in the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
