Chattanooga State Volleyball Defeats Bryan JV, 3-0

Next Up For Lady Tigers: No. 1 Catawba Valley On Saturday

The Chattanooga State volleyball team defeated the Bryan JV Monday night by a core of 3-0.

After the Lady Tigers rang up set victories of 25-13, 25-16 and 25-8, head coach Janet Tate had this to say about her squad, “The team had great sophomore leadership tonight with Ricki Lynn Bickley’s 13 kills, Emily Redden’s 19 assists, followed by Dakota Rawiszer’s 11 assists.

Also,  Brieana Hemphill contributed 6 kills and 7 straight service points. Freshman Madysun Steele added 9 more kills to the win! It was an overall great effort defensively and offensively tonight. “

Chattanooga State (8-6) next plays at home on Thursday against Catawba Valley, the No. 1 ranked Division II team in the country. The match begins at 3:00 p.m.
