Paula Bell, 55, passed away on April 22, 2019.
She was a member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from Howard High School in the class of 1982 and worked for Durham School Bus Service for over 15 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Bell; grandparents, Fannie Mae Bell, James (Corine) Pitner.
Survivors include her children, Tonisha Porch, Britney (Robert) Hyter, and Russell Porch, Jr.; fiance, Russell Porch, Sr.; mother, Mattie Jennings;sisters, Wanda (Will) Cooley, Bertha Williams; brothers, Reginald Bell, James Williams, Chistopher Williams, Phillip Bell; grandchildren, Lendale Houser, Madisyn Hyter, Allear Hyter, Raelynn Hyter; special aunts, Angelette McGraw, Emma Davis; uncles, Fred Pitner, Nelson Bell, Michael Bell, Herman Holt; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, May 3, and the family will receive friends from 7–8 p.m. at the funeral home.
A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, May 4, at 11 a.m. with Reverend Carlton Douglas officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
