Alberta Townsend, 94, passed away on June 25, 2019.
She is survived by her children Mary (Jesse) Higgins, Nathaniel Ross, and Ralph Tyrone Stokes; seven grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Bennie Ward Sr. and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, other relatives and friends.
The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, June 28, at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 29, at 1 p.m. at Highland Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Johnson officiating.
