Anna Tilley
Anna Sue Meadows Tilley, 76, born on July 25, 1944, departed this life into the hands of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 27, 2020.
She was very devoted to and loved her family and friends. She was very giving to all. She was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church and attended Morning View Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husband of 38 years: Big John Tilley; parents: Carl and Becky Meadows; son: John W. Tilley; brothers: Clyde Meadows, Frank Meadows, William Meadows, Danny Meadows, Howard Meadows; sister: Barbra Gene Fagg; and special friend: Marland Quarles.
Survivors include her son: Donny (Missy) Tilley; Daughter: Sheila (Lee) Pillion; grandchildren: Bridgett (Dustin) Prichard, James (Ashley) Pillion, Derrick (Nikki) Tilley, Casey Tilley, Dillan Tilley, Amanda (Jason) Thompson, Sean Trew; Great grandchildren; Morgan Pritchett, Carlee Prichard, Jaley Pillion, Kayley Pillion, Baylee Pillion, Aticus Tilley, Weston Tilley, Kaiden Tilley, Oliver Tilley; brothers: Leroy Meadows, Billy Meadows, Kenny Meadows; sister: Faye Stokes; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, Oct. 30, at 11 a.m. at Meigs County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Mike Couch officiating. Pallbearers will include will be James Pillion, Derrick Tilley, Dillan Tilley, Dustin Prichard, Casey Tilley, Colton Rose, Gary Meadows.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Billy Meadows, Leroy Meadows, Lester Meadows, Kenny Meadows.
Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, in the chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for the benefit of those involved in the Meigs South Bus Accident in care of Pisgah Baptist Church (486 Pisgah Academy Road, Decatur, TN 37322).
