Randy “Hogg Head” Blevins, 63, of East Ridge, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020. 

 

Randy was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area. He retired in December of 2017 from the City of Chattanooga with 28 years of service. He was a strong family man, loved his children, enjoyed riding motorcycles, had a great sense of humor, and was an avid Bill Elliot fan.

 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Jean Blevins; and grandson, Shon Blevins.

 

Survivors include his wife, Joy Blevins; children, Randy Blevins, II, Brittany Blevins, Alexis Smith, and Marie Inas; father, Clayton Blevins; granddaughter, Hayleigh Blevins; and aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.

 

Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Lakewood South Memory Gardens.

 

The family will receive friends Thursday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, Ga.
